This is a workshop of “ah-ha” moments. Your pelvic center is only a mystery because we’re not supposed to talk about it. But your tight hips? Your low back pain? Your “weak core?” ALL relate to and affect your pelvic floor. Let’s ditch the taboo topics and get curious about and loving toward these amazing bodies. Join me for two hours of intelligent anatomy, effective movement and a lot of fun.

One mistake movement/yoga practices often make is to focus only one part of the picture in the hips and core.
When it comes to our hips, we often think “stretch stretch stretch!” I often hear people say, I want to ‘open’ my hips, let’s do hip openers.
Then when it comes to the core, we think “work work work!” Students request ‘abs’ to get stronger.
The secret is the openness and strength you want come from a more nuanced way of working with the body.

low back pain
weak core muscles
tight hips
knee issues
pelvic floor concerns like sneeze pee or pain
This workshop will help!! You’ll get tools to start coming back into balance, increase stability and reduce pain.
It doesn’t matter what age you are — it’s never too late or too early to learn how to balance both strength and release in the hips and core.
This kind of awareness, education and practice is essential for all women. And being together normalizes what we are all going through, whether it’s aches and pains, body changes or sneeze pee.
You’ll take what you learn into your ongoing yoga practice, as well as into your daily life.
You will leave this workshop feeling relieved to know more, excited about your body and empowered to treat your pelvic floor like the queen she is.
