You don’t have to be 50
In case you are wondering: No, you don’t have to be a 50 year old woman to join It’s All Yoga.
Since launching my new website, I’ve heard from two men and one woman in her 40s: “I don’t fit the description… Can I still join the studio?”
The answer is a resounding, Yes!
How and what and why I teach are a better indicator of fit than a demographic description.
For example, we:
Focus on strength work for strong bones and muscle tone
Build stamina for hiking, biking, travel and other things you love to do
Increase balance and vitality so you can keep doing those things
Appreciate details and nuances in poses rather than fly through ten vinyasas
Use practical monthly themes like Heal Low Back Pain and Tall, Elegant Posture
Help manage hormonal symptoms like insomnia, energy levels and moodiness
Practice kindness and compassion toward ourselves rather than exercise as punishment
Take the practice seriously… aaaaaand, there is usually laughing
In addition, many people here want teachers who have a breadth of yoga education and life experience.
At It's All Yoga, we are all seasoned teachers and teach in an accessible, trauma-informed way where all people feel welcome.
